Choreography for camera work, made for LEAP dance festival as part of a project which included live performances of the work around the city. Based on experiences of using public transport around Liverpool. Filmed on mix of phone camera and professional level camera. Edited by myself.

Puddle Dance (2005 3mins)  (Has some interlacing due to YouTube settings changing 😦 )

β€œI was walking past a massive puddle, shimmering, reflecting the sky… and I had a tremendous urge to jump in it…”

Puddle dance came out of a very simple idea and became a reflection on the limits society sets on the human body; what we are allowed to do in public. Dublin based choreographer Rachel Wynne was invited to collaborate on the project and the choreography based on very simple instructions was developed over the internet. The artists went off with their respective film-makers and made the piece, only to see the final outcomes when meeting to edit in England.

Playful and fun, was a favourite at Nottdance film night 2006.
